| | 10th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE SHORT STORY IN ENGLISH
Nuala will read with San Diego/Tijuana based writer Cristina Rivera-Garza at the 10th International Short Story Conference in University College Cork on Thursday 19th June.
Venue: O'Rahilly Building, UCC, Room 3.03. 5.15pm.
As part of the conference, Nuala will also take part in an Editor's Roundtable on Friday the 20th June.

| | SOUTHWORD 14 LAUNCH
Also in Cork on Thursday June 19th at 6.30pm in the City Library, Grand Parade, will be the launch of Southword 14, of which Nuala was the fiction editor.
Everybody welcome. Wine and soft drinks provided by the library. Please come and bring your friends!

| | Workshop and Reading at Iniscealtra Festival

Nuala will give a fiction and poetry workshop, as well as a reading, at the Iniscealtra Festival on the June Bank Holiday week-end.
Nuala will offer a two day creative writing workshop to writers of both fiction and poetry. There is an opportunity to submit work in advance to Nuala for guidance over the weekend.
