The Juno Charm reviewed on Arena
by Dave Lordan
Nuala's poetry collection The Juno Charm was positively reviewed on the RTE radio 1 arts programme Arena by the writer Dave Lordan.
‘This is a joyful book, a honeymoon book. It’s very affecting. She uses language to illustrate the fragility of existence, beautifully and gorgeously...It’s a book that is delicate, and also flagrant in its eroticism...These are Sheela-na-gigs of poems. There’s a very indepth, paganistic, epicurean sense of the female body as the site of pleasure in them.’
